Currently InfoBurst has limited Excel formatting whether it be via a template or an Excel artifact when utilizing DBConnect query results (and other sources) in your Burst.
I would recommend the ability to:
Use a predefined Excel layout (headers, shading, borders, column widths, date and currency formats)
Populate that layout with DBConnect query results
Distribute the resulting Excel file via email using Burst
What we have observed so far:
In the UX, New → Template appears to create delivery templates (destination/notification settings), not document/layout templates.
We do not see options to create Excel/Spreadsheet/Workbook artifacts or upload Excel layout templates.
There is no Excel/Office-related configuration visible under System → Configuration.
UNC/network paths appear to be supported only for output destinations, not as sources for Excel templates.
