New Discover Report

Hi,

I would like to see the Ability to create Merged reports in Discover.

Ex : Basically allowing the user to Merge Schedule lists with Bursts , Event files etc.

Thank You

Saajid

Hey Saajid. Do you mean using InfoBurst to generate separate reports (example: Bursts, Schedules, etc.) and produce a single Excel workbook where each (separate) report is on a different worksheet?

Hi Bryan,

I meant a report that gives the relationship of which Schedules references which Bursts. Currently we only have reports specific to Schedules , Bursts etc. But there doesn't seem to be a way to get the references of the objects

Thanks

Saajid

Thanks for the update. Discover reports do no provide hierarchy. InfoBurst provides a legacy reporting option using OData. Using OData with Excel it is possible to generate reports that have hierarchy (example: Schedule > Burst > Document > Delivery). See the following tutorial for details:

okay got it, Thank you Bryan

Hi Bryan, I am currently using

Platform Version:2024.3.3

I was wondering if you can use a wildcard in the filtering for the Discovery Reports

Example: Objects > Schedules

I would like to then apply a filter on the Path, but not the full path

I would want to see everything in  PATH: \Custom Invoicing\Client Reports\

where there are many folders by client after the Client Reports\

Hey Kevin. You want to see only Schedules in Custom Invoicing\Client Reports\ and no Schedules in sub-folders of Custom Invoicing\Client Reports\. Is that correct? If yes, then such a search is not currently supported. It is possible to export the report to Excel. Is such a filter possible in Excel?

Bryan, Thanks for the quick response.
I want to see all of the subfolders under this path: Custom Invoicing\Client Reports\(100's of sub folders).
the (100's of sub folders) is where i was trying to apply a wildcard to view all of the schedules within.

I was able to export the full schedule and filter, was just checking if the wildcard was an option.

PS, love having this reporting built into Infoburst rather than running a report through OData.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hey Kevin. We are planning an enhancement to Discover to allow for folder selection when running a report. We will update this forum when the feature is released.
